Waiting on Wednesday button

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine, where we feature a book we are looking forward to being released!

Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

Siege and Storm (The Grisha #2)
by Leigh Bardugo

6 June 2013

[bra_dropcaps style=’dropcap2′]D[/bra_dropcaps]arkness never dies. Alina and Mal are on the run. Hunted and haunted, but together at last, they can’t outrun Alina’s past or her destiny forever. The Darkling has emerged from the Shadow Fold with a terrifying new power and he needs Alina to realise his dangerous plan. There are others who would like to use Alina’s gift too. And as her power grows, somehow, she must choose between her country, her power, and her love – or risk losing everything to the oncoming storm.

Glorious. Epic. Irresistible. Romance.

This book is out TOMORROW here in the UK and I’m posting this for completely selfish reasons as I want everyone to go and BUY IT NOW.

Let me be your book pusher in this instance. I had the pleasure of reading this on my honeymoon and it is fantastic! I really need everyone to read it so I can have someone to squee/rant/gasp with and most especially to discuss the merits of a certain fictional prince with 😉

And when you are reading it, please don’t hesitate tweet at me!

Thanks to the amazing team at Indigo/Fierce Fiction, I have one paperback copy of Siege and Storm to giveaway, hot off the press! The giveaway is UK only and you can enter using the Rafflecopter below. Enjoy!

I saw your review on this and wanted to read it but it said spoiler alert and I was like NOooooooOOOooo and then I had to walk away. BUT, I finally bought the first book for my birthday and ordered the second one (I think it should arrive this week?) so soon I will be able to read your review and share all my thoughts with you. I'm so excited to start this series since I've heard so many good things. I just hope I'm not the odd one out who doesn't fall in love!

    • Daphne says:

Aww Asti I’m sorry! I put spoiler alert just in case. I don’t give away too much, but there are probably spoilers for book 1, so if you haven’t read either it’s probably a good thing you turned away.

Anyway, I’m glad you have the books and I really look forward to hearing what you think (but don’t be afraid to say if you feel different)!
