Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish to show off our book-related lists!
Today I thought the topic would be an easy one, but I only managed 8 this week. I mean boarding school books, I love them all! When it came down to it though, all the ones I love are really part of a series, and it was a bit unfair to list all the books individually. So I tried my hardest, and the last one squeezed in isn’t technically a boarding school, but oh well. While making this list, I realised I read a lot about teenagers, but not many of them are actually in school…where do these kids learn?
Top Ten Books
With a Boarding School Setting
Seven of the best boarding school books ever. Seriously, who wouldn’t want to be at Hogwarts? (Go Ravenclaw!)
My new favourite world, all based around chalk battles. Chalk battles guys! You need to read this now.
I want to be at the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women with Cammie, Macey, Liz and Bex!
Still my favourite YA contemporary. Anna’s boarding school in Paris is a dream.
Annie and Fia kicking butts with their minds at the Kessler School for Exceptional Girls. (Surely someone’s realised by now that ‘Exceptional’ really means assassin spies?)
Truly funny, paranormal boarding school mystery. Loved the different types of Prodigium and Sophie’s snark.
Ghosts, London, Jack the Ripper, what’s not to love? Yes, there is a boarding school in there somewhere.
Not technically a boarding school, but c’mon, I followed Elizabeth and Jessica’s adventures from second grade all the way up to University. That is a lot of schooling, yo.
