Top Ten Tuesday banner

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish to show off our book-related lists.

These are the top ten books that I currently own that I would love to read soon. I’ve actually just looked back at my Top Ten Summer TBR post and I only managed to read one(!) of those ten books, so hopefully this season will be better!

Needed Sequels:

These are all second books in the series that I’m super excited for. I thank Defiance my book boyfriend of last year (Logan!), The City’s Son for introducing me to a London I always want to imagine, or in the case of Geek Girl, more silly, stupendous humour.

Before Events

I’ve been lucky enough to going to so many wonderful bookish events this year. These are four authors I’m seeing in the fall and would love to have read the books before then. Mainly so I can gush shamelessly.

Break from YA

I had a bit of a reading slump and I think I just need to diversify my reading list a little bit. So here are three non-YA books I’ve got that I’ve heard so much about and think I would love. It’s perfect to break up the review books and makes me look cooler when reading on the tube.

Would love to add more to my ever growing TBR pile so please leave links to your fall TBR lists in the comments! Which of these books above are on your TBR pile?

I've read both Where'd You Go, Bernadette (so funny!) and The Bone Season. Both are great choices. I agree with the idea of taking a break from reading any one genre. That's why I love going to the library, great time to pick-up a new to you backlist.

  4. I can't wait to read Deception and The bone season 😀 Vicious and Briar rose look great too!

Great choices! Model Misfit is really funny and definitely a light read. I enjoyed Every Day too. Will be looking out for your thoughts on More Than This and Fearsome Dreamer 🙂

I am so frickin' excited about reading More Than This. I read the first chapter and I'm already in love with it. I'm so jealous that you are going to see Patrick Ness. And Vicious sounds like a book I will love. Supervillains? Yes please!

Thanks for stopping by my Top Ten! (Btw, I love your blog's layout. It's so gorgeous! :D)
