Challenge, Netgalley November / November 7, 2013

Netgalley November button

I was so thrilled when the lovely Faye from A Daydreamer’s Thoughts, Kayleigh from K-Books and Laura from Bookish Treasures decided to host this event. My Netgalley to-be-read pile is seriously long and I seem to always get distracted by shinier, physical books/proofs that sit on my bookshelf (just becuase I see them every day).

But no more! I’ve decided to take the challenge and read (mostly) Netgalley books this month. On my list are:

Model Misfit (Geek Girl #2) by Holly Smale
Shadowplay (Pantomime #2) by Laura Lam
The Almost Girl by Amalie Howard
The Iron Traitor (The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten #2) by Julie Kagawa
After Eden by Helen Douglas
The Enchantress by Michael Scott

I also plan to write reviews for books I’ve already read, including:

These Broken Stars by Meagan Spooner and Amie Kaufman
Black Chalk by Christopher J. Yates
Dare You To by Katie McGarry
Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass #2) by Sarah J. Maas

If you haven’t signed up, you can do so here!

I have really noticed that my approval rating has gone done since Netgalley started to provide a percentage on my profile.I am really hoping that this challenge will ell me to tackle my Netgalley TBR and improve the situation.

After the first week I am at approx. 50%. I don't know how close to 80% I will get ( my math's isn't very good) but I am aiming to read 8 books during the challenge.

My plan is to start with the recently published and work my way back through my galleys. I have After Eden and these Broken Stars on my TBR too.

Now, if only I could resist the urge to request more titles….
