Top Ten Tuesday banner

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish to show off our book-related lists!

Wow, I’m quite sad saying goodbye to this year. It was a year of big things for me, namely getting married and buying my first property. So thank you to 2013, which will forever be an unforgettable year.

Book-wise, I managed to read 68 books this year. There were so many that I loved, some true standout books and characters this year, so this list was really, really tough to put together. But after making some painful cuts (Code Name Verity, Eleanor & Park, All Our Yesterdays), here are my top ten of 2013:

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for supporting the blog this year. I’ll be taking a couple of weeks off in January due to work but I’ll be back towards the end of the month. Here’s to a great 2014!

Gone Girl was on my list, too! I loved it so much, and now I am dying to read her other novel, 'Dark Places'! (I've already read 'Sharp Objects') Happy new year!

Love the pictures of your list! Looks so pretty.

I bought The Rithmatist just yesterday and can't wait to read it. I'm currently reading the second book in his Mistborn trilogy and it's SO good. I think he might me a new favorite author of mine.

I only read Wonder and Angelfall from your list and I enjoyed both a whole lot.
