Top Ten Tuesday banner

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish to show off our book-related lists.

Another woeful performance from my Winter TBR list, where I only managed to read 2 out of 10 books. Here’s hoping that Spring is more productive!

Borrowed

These books were pushed on me by three good friends. After I lent Caitlin Vicious, she bought, read and loved The Archived by Victoria Schwab as well, so I’m really thrilled to get a chance to read it. Splintered is one book that Faye won’t stop going on about, and its sequel Unhinged, which was released recently was also just as good. Finally, Jim has been pushing and pushing this latest from Catnip Publishing, Girl with the White Dog, so much that he’s already convinced quite a few people to buy it and me to cheekily borrow it from him. Thanks guys for the great recs!

For Review

I’ve received all of these for review quite recently and I have to say they all look incredibly good. From mermaids, to Emily Bronte, to sky fiction, and the latest from one of my favourite UKYA contemporary authors, there is something here for every mood.

Sequels of Excitement

These books really need no introduction. Anyone that knows me knows how hard I’ve pushed The Savages last year and I was delighted to hear it would have a sequel (that’s one of my Top Ten prayers answered)! Also, The final book in the amazing Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy comes out in April and I’ve already pre-ordered my copy. Lastly, a new love for me, which are fantastic for all ages. Need more of Sesame Seade and her adventures!

Ooh if you haven't read Splintered then i really hope that you will enjoy it! Definitely one of my favourite reads from last year 🙂 The Other two books that your friends have mentioned i don't really recognise, however i hope you enjoy them nonetheless. Deep Blue also looks very interesting and i really need to read daughter of smoke and bones before the 3rd book is released. Good luck getting through these! 🙂

I've been wanting to read Splintered for such a long time! The cover always seems to draw me… I finally ordered it, but it is still sitting on my shelf! Also looking forward to reading The Archived! I've heard good things and I'm actually going to her book signing event tonight!

  3. Great picks! I am looking forward to reading a few of these myself, especially The Archived, which I have had since Christmas but haven't managed to get to yet. I hope you find the time to get to them all 🙂 My TTT.
